This pressure maintenance unit with hydraulic accumulator is used when the clamping equipment is separate from the pressure generator (e.g. on CNC machine tools with pallet change) or if just one pressure generator is used for several clamping fixtures.

As well as absorbing the variations in volume triggered by sudden temperature changes, the pre-charged pressure accumulator automatically intervenes when pressure drops occur, ensuring constant clamping of the piece being machined. Available in a variety of configurations: with pressure gauge only, with pressure gauge and accumulator, or with pressure gauge, accumulator and relief valve, for both single-acting and double-acting cylinders.
