Small-sized single-acting oil-oil pressure booster with spring return, suitable for use on machine tools where a low-pressure hydraulic circuit is available to supply higher-pressure applications simply and effectively.

The booster is operated by a distributor with flow regulator valve and an internal check valve. The check valve supplies the low-pressure circuit until the actuator shifts to the operating position; the pressure now increases to the maximum value, keeping the actuator pressurised in a static condition.

To return the actuator, the control valve is switched to the dump position. The booster piston then moves to the rest position, opening the integral check valve. The booster can be installed in any position.
